A Lasting Power of Attorney is a powerful legal document allowing you to appoint one or more individuals (attorneys) to act for you should you become unwell, unable, or simply require some assistance from a loved one.

Step 1 We take the Lasting Power of Attorney instruction from you
Step 2 We then draft your Lasting Power of Attorney documents at our office
Step 3 Once drafted, we make arrangements to visit you to gain all relevant signatures including visiting and corresponding with all of your attorneys/replacement attorneys
Step 4 The documents are put through a process to ensure that there are no errors. Once complete, they are submitted to 'The Office of the Public Guardian' for registration (services includes all registration fees and process)
And finally... Once we receive the registered documents back, these are then sent to you, ready for use.
*The Office of the public guardian, an executive agency of the Ministry of Justice, are responsible for registering all UK Lasting Power of Attorney's. They protect people without capacity and are also responsible for supervising deputyship orders/deputies appointed by The Court of Protection.
